Salt Series Dry Handpipe
Long, beak-like, bared white teeth and exposed pink gums... a single, wary eye glaring behind a sleepy eyelid... fat wrinkles and a distinctly human nose forming the characteristics of its body.... This scary little sea creature/glass pipe makes a startling first impression, but it's the details that will take a long time to get to know. The purple surface is covered in variations in color and texture: specks, bubbles and nebulous patches of pigment. The carb hole is located at the 6 o'clock position on the bowl, facing the mouthpiece, resting neatly under your thumb whether you're a right- or left-landed smoker.
Impressive detail, mottled coloring and a disturbingly realistic eye make Salt's glass handpipe a unique addition to your home and your smoking kit. You may already own a pipe, but Salt's work is truly a collector's item.
This one-of-a-kind piece is part of a series of handpipes created by respected Austin, Texas-based glass artist Salt. Inspired by strange creatures at the bottom of the sea, these mysterious invertebrates appear to see all. Each piece is signed by the artist and never replicated — your pipe is the only one like it.
