Based in the Portland, Oregon area, Kevin Murray has been working with glass since 2004 and is quickly winning over glass collectors who are fans of crisp, tight color work with his vibrant reversals, fillacello designs, Celtic knots and collectable glass marbles.
The bubbler pictured here features glossy black glass with light dichro "chalk stripes" around the whole piece, with green and blue reversals wrapped around the chamber, a brilliant green appendage, and an external carb hole on the left side of the bowl. A clear marble magnifier highlights the artist's signature. Approximately 6 inches tall, this piece features a stable, flat base and a comfortable rounded mouthpiece, making it a beautiful yet compact and functional water pipe.
