Glass Sherlock Handpipe - Color on Fumed Glass with Appendage
This dry sherlock pipe is made by hand from quality borosilicate glass and features a unique shape, with a glass spiked appendage underneath the bowl, a color marble and magnifiers to add character to its silhouette. Ethereal color work on thick fumed glass is decorated with a color ring around the carb hole on the left side of the bowl. Fumed glass changes color over time with heat and buildup, so your sherlock pipe's look will evolve as you use it. Thorough cleaning will return it to its original hues, so you can watch it slowly change all over again! These photos show the sherlock pipe after some use so you can see how the color on your pipe might develop.
Because each piece is individually handblown by glass artists in an Oregon collective, the sherlock handpipe you receive will be one-of-a-kind. The shape and color pattern may vary slightly from what you see in the photo, but the overall design will be the same.
