The active alkaloid in mimosa hostilis is N,N-DMT, which is similar to LSD but more intense. Normally orally ingested DMT has no effect, but by combining mimosa hostilis with an MAO-inhibitor such as peganum harmala (Syrian rue) or banisteriopsis caapi, you can make ayahuasca, a magical brew giving an intense experience.
Usage:
Steep 3 to 5 grams of ground peganum harmala seeds in hot water. Do the same with 9 grams of mimosa hostlis and mix that with some lemon or lime juice. Drink the peganum harmala extract and after 15 minutes the mimosa hostilis mixture.
