Glass Spoon Pipe - Heavy Inside Out Fume with Frit & Dichro
This heavy, quality borosilicate glass spoon pipe features inside out fumed glass with dichro and frit. Fumed glass is realized by holding precious metals in the flame during the glass blowing process. Fumed glass appears to change color over time with buildup, so your pipe's look will evolve as you use it. No two pipes will evolve similarly, so there is no way to know exactly how your pipe will end up looking. Thorough cleaning will return it to its original hues, so you can watch it slowly change all over again!
Dichroic glass (dichro) contains multiple micro-layers of metal oxides, which give the glass dichroic optical properties. Frit is a technique in which crushed glass is used to create a speckled effect within the pipe. The inside out glass of this colorful spoon pipe has a thick layer of clear glass that really magnifies and absorbs all the colors used in this spoon pipe. All this creates an unique, gorgeous and ethereal effects and really makes all the colors stand out beautifully.
The bowl of this spoon pipe is decorated with red marbles on the right side. The carb hole is placed on the left side of the bowl in a matching red color.
Because each pipe is individually handmade by glass artists in an Oregon collective, the pipe you receive will be one-of-a-kind. The pattern may vary from what you see in the photo, but the overall design will be the same.
